Blockbuster movie Wonder Woman is too western and too white. With its sexualized image and unrealistic beauty, WW does not connect with millions of women around the world. It has commercial value only. It does not represent a feminist symbol of a strong and liberated woman. With multiple identities, women in contemporary society face multiple challenges. Wonder Women can’t be a role model for young women as it does not capture that diversity.
