
When beliefs and dictums in religious doctrines, a guru’s gospel, theism, atheism, Marxism, or other political and social ideological systems are offered as everlasting formulated prescriptions to tackle personal or society’s welfare and ills, they risk becoming rigid frameworks that confine the mind.
Rather than encouraging inquiry, they often turn into intellectual cul-de-sacs, where free thinking is not nurtured but narrowed, and even face barricades or dead ends.
