ISRAELI SOLDIERS: An Army Of Savages

As I witness the haunting flashes of death and destruction, of skeletal children with sunken eyes and trembling hands stretching out empty pots for a spoonful of survival, a fury rises—raw and immediate.

At the center of this orchestrated human catastrophe, I see Benjamin Netanyahu, the architect of the current genocide, presiding over the carnage.

But my outrage doesn’t stop at him.

I curse the Israeli soldiers, the drone operators, the tank drivers, and every uniformed figure who carries out these orders with mechanical precision and moral indifference.

Over 53,000 lives extinguished since October 2023—numbers so large they are becoming statistics.

And yet, we’re told: “They’re just doing their duty.”

What kind of duty is it to bomb hospitals, turn refugee camps into graveyards, and leave newborns gasping under rubble?

This is not a war. It is a massacre wrapped in the flag of nationalism and sanctioned by the gospel of military obedience.

The soldiers are pawns. Under the roar of orders, they’ve muted their consciences. They bury their morality before they bury their enemy.

Soldiers are not sacred.

They are the muscle of a savage occupation, a brutal extension of a regime drunk on its impunity, backed by a global war industry that profits from bloodshed.

This is humanity at its lowest—where killing becomes service.

  1. Dear Promod Bhai:

We are indeed witnessing a genocide in Gaza, and it is happening in front of our eyes. The images on television screens are horrifying. Yet our political leaders are allowing this to take place.

The UN just warned that thousands of children in Gaza could starve if Israel does not let food in.

The situation is so severe that the UK just suspended trade talks, Spain is moving to ban arms sales, and the EU is questioning its trade deal with Israel.

The west is finally waking up to the situation. In a joint statement issued on May 19, 2025, Canada, UK and France strongly opposed “the expansion of Israel’s military operations in Gaza. The level of human suffering in Gaza is intolerable.” These three countries have called on the Israeli Government “to stop its military operations in Gaza and immediately allow humanitarian aid to enter Gaza. This must include engaging with the UN to ensure a return to delivery of aid in line with humanitarian principles.”

There is no doubt that Israel has weaponized humanitarian assistance to serve its political and military objectives. A day of judgment will soon come not only for Netanyahu and his generals but also for his enablers in the west. Although I agree with you that Benjamin Netanyahu is the architect of the current genocide, but we must not let the western politicians off the hook. It is their weapons that Netanyahu have used to kill thousands of Palestinian men, women, and children.

History will not spare them. Netanyahu’s enablers are equally responsible for the suffering of Palestinians.

    1. I agree with you dear Harinder about your true assessment of the horrific situation in Gaza. However, in this piece of writing I go beyond Netanyahu, and the western support thru its supply of weapons. I question the very institution of armed forces on their morality to carry out the insane orders from Netanyahu. No country or world leader till now has been able to stop the Israeli leader’s carnage. It is for that reason I question the very consciousness of the soldiers in their killing spree. They’ve muted their consciences. They bury their morality before they bury their enemy. Soldiers are not sacred anymore.
