This year, two groups of astronomers plan to send messages containing information about humans and the location of Earth toward parts of space they think maybe home to intelligent life.
But is it advisable? In case the aliens find us, will that be a peaceful descent? Or wild, violent turbulence!
Iconic physicist Stephen Hawking was outspoken about the danger of contacting aliens with superior technology. He argued that they if given Earth’s location, might destroy humanity.
In that case, can we abandon all the wars, battles, fights and conflicts going on all over the globe, and jointly start working to save the planet earth from foreign invasions?
