LABELLING OF US VOTERS

“When you hear of “the Black vote,” “the Jewish vote” or “the Latino vote” as a kind of shorthand to describe a voting bloc, it’s probably wrong. There’s no one Jewish vote, no one Latino vote and definitely no monolithic Black vote in the U.S.” -The Conversation

By boxing and labelling them with separate ethnic identities, the intelligence and independent thinking of individual voters are being disdained and dismissed. Voters are not a bunch of herds to be pushed in one or the other political barns.

The mindset tagging has been overly used during election time. And that is not democratic.
