A “healthy economy” often comes wrapped in buzzwords—booming, dynamic, growing, thriving, vibrant, robust.
But what does that really mean?
Is it simply about producing more and consuming more?
Or is it about higher earnings and greater spending?
A deeper question follows: how does economic health connect with environmental health? Do we accept an economy as “healthy” if it causes an unhealthy environment?
Or can an economy be truly healthy only when it helps create a healthier environment too?
