Life Is A Game Of Soccer/football

All our thoughts, perceptions and subsequent actions are influenced and regulated by the consciousness of the “landscape of reality” around us.

In this landscape, one selects their own space on life’s play field.

And the game starts. It is a collective game, a team game. There is no absolute independence.

“As Pelé once said, ‘Success is no accident. It is hard work, perseverance, learning, studying, sacrifice and most of all, love of what you are doing or learning to do.'”

Personal likes and dislikes, thoughts and behaviours, actions and reactions, morals, ifs, and buts are all part of the game.

The social and environmental topics and tasks around us are the team’s facing norms, which shape and steer the game.

Stamina, discipline, and coordination in these environments help us score our goals.

Individual performance determines the scale of awards. As Vince Lombardi famously stated, ‘The price of success is hard work, dedication to the job at hand, and the determination that whether we win or lose, we have applied the best of ourselves to the task at hand.'”

Ronaldo, Messi, and Bellingham, based on their skills, hard work, and some luck, have collected millions while others have pocketed less.

There is seldom a level play.

Speeding race toward the goal is unexpectedly blocked. We are tripped by those who may or may not receive the yellow and red cards.

New strategies kick in when we face falls and bruises. But challenges are constant. We keep on running toward the goal while being pushed back and forth.

The Referee blows the final whistle. And the game is over.

But it’s not just about winning or losing, but how we play the game of soccer.
