One of the most popular, versatile, easy-to-prepare and stomach-friendly side dishes in the Indian culinary delights is the tasty and traditional Raita.
The main ingredient is the stirred yogurt.

My innovation in this cool dish involves the entry of sweet potato and raisins. Previously soaked and lightly crushed walnuts can also be combined.
The rest of the ingredients are the salt, crushed black pepper (I leave some non-crushed to give an added flavour and aroma), cumin seeds powder, a dash of Haldi to get a shade of yellow, and chunks of sweet potatoes. Buttermilk can be added to give the Raita a smoother taste.
Like plain yogurt, Raita is loaded with billions of healthy probiotics that help our digestive system.
Enjoy this sweet recipe for Raita, and please share it. The yellow stuff in the pics is the chunks of boiled sweet potatoes.
